About Cameron

Cameron Patterson is an experienced IT infrastructure leader and consulting architect. He has in-depth technical, commercial and organisational experience across a variety of industry sectors, from finance to energy to retail and in the service provider space.

After a ten or so years in industry Cameron spent a number of years in research and development at the University of Manchester. Here he was awarded a PhD in computer engineering of a large machine learning platform in the early 2010s. As part of this role he published papers, undertook undergraduate lecturing and presented at conferences and on-site at some of Silicon Valley’s largest corporations about his research.

He returned full-time to the commercial world in 2014, with his technical interests including the future of computing, the ever-increasing pervasiveness of security across the enterprise and around network programmability and the ‘devnetops’ space.

Cameron maintains a hatful of certifications including his Cisco CCIE which has been active for over 20 years, and is a Chartered Engineer and Manager.
